Dr. Ronald Sell, M.D.

Dr. Sell has been practicing in Chandler for 30 + years. He and Dr. Gannon founded East Valley Family Physicians in 1987. Dr. Sell received his Doctorate of Medicine from Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, PA. He has also served as Chief of Staff at Chandler Regional Hospital. Dr. Sell has four adult children and enjoys tennis and birding in his spare time.

Dr. David Gannon, M.D.

Dr. Gannon is one of the founding physicians of East Valley family physicians. He graduated from the University of Arizona with his Doctorate of Medicine. In addition to his practice at our office, he has done resident teaching at St. Joseph's Hospital .Dr. Gannon is an active preceptor for Medical students from the University of Arizona. For several years he has been active as a sub investigator for clinical Research. Dr. Gannon is married with four adult children and five grandchildren. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting and fishing. Dr. Gannon believes in the quality of great healthcare for all ages.

Dr. Thomas Hopkins, M.D.

Dr. Hopkins started with East Valley Family Physicians in 1990 as the third physician to join the practice. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of California in San Diego and completed his residency at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix. In addition to his private practice, he teaches University of Arizona medical students in the office. Dr. Hopkins has four adult children and enjoys running, cooking, skiing and travel.

Dr. Timothy Baker, M.D.

Dr. Baker was born and raised in Arizona. He graduated from the University of Arizona with his Doctorate of Medicine in 1989. Dr. Baker was the fourth physician to join East Valley Family Physicians Having over 30 years of diverse experience in Family Practice, His philosophy is to provide excellent quality care. When it comes to caring for patients, Dr. Baker places great emphasis on getting the most out of your visit with your family physician. He sees the active practice of preventative care as a way to diagnose problems early and make necessary changes. These changes help his patients prevent chronic diseases and leads them to a healthier life style. He believes that he doesn’t only provide care for his patients but the care he provides makes a difference in the lives of the patient’s families and loved ones Dr. Baker and his wife have four children. He enjoys spending his spare time traveling, playing golf and tennis, the outdoors and family activities.

Dr. Larry Tamburro, M.D.

21 years of family practice experience, Dr. Tamburro was the sixth physician to join our practice. Dr. Tamburro graduated from Wayne State University with his Doctorate of Medicine. Dr. Tamburro is married with two children and enjoys mountain bike riding and cooking in his spare time.

Dr. Paige Walend, M.D.

Paige Walend was born in a small mountain town in North Carolina and grew up in the beautiful southeast. She attended the North Carolina School for Science and Mathematics (the original STEM high school in the US) for her junior and senior years. She earned a bachelors in Russian and Soviet Studies with a minor in Biology at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. Returning to North Carolina, she completed her medical degree at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill (Go Heels!). Dr. Walend travelled west to Arizona for residency at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix and decided that since everyone likes to retire in Arizona, why not just stay? She started private practice in 1996 in Ahwatukee, AZ. After seven years there, she joined East Valley Family Physicians. In 2016, Dr. Walend transitioned her practice to an MDVIP format and continues to enjoy the extra time and availability for patient care. She believes that medical practice should be a partnership between the physician and the patient, focused on the complete wellbeing, rather than just disease processes. She is married and has two daughters and two dogs. She enjoys hiking, travel, college basketball, reading, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Eileen Change, D.O.

Dr. Chang joined East Valley Family Physicians in 2016. She obtained her medical degree from Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed residency at a University of Illinois Family Medicine program. In her career as a doctor she has enjoyed providing compassionate care to patients in different healthcare settings, from the home to the hospital, from urgent care to a community health center. Many different experience have been as much an education as formal medical training. She brings her experience and education to serve you at East Valley Family Physicians. She strives to provide compassion care and a listening ear to every patient for better healthcare. When Dr. Chang is not in the office she is with her family. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

Dr. Conrad Lawrence, M.D.

Dr. Lawrence is excited to join the East Valley Family Physicians Group. He is dedicated to providing quality healthcare and being more involved in the local community. Dr. Lawrence is an Air Force Veteran and began his medical career as an ER shift leader and military medic in the Air Force. He went on to earn a Bachelors of Science in the Des Moines University’s physician assistant program in Iowa. He subsequently earned his Doctorate of Medicine in from Saba University School of Medicine in Saba, Netherlands Antilles. He then completed his residency at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Lawrence is board certified in Family Medicine. The best skill he believes he brings to the Chandler community stems from his military experience. “My journey from a military medic to a physician has taught me a lot. We all have something unique within us, and for me, I think the ability to listen well and be compassionate has really allowed me to be a better person and physician.” Outside of work, Dr. Lawrence enjoys fishing, woodworking and reading. He and his wife reside in Gilbert and are proud parents of a teenage son and two spoiled pugs.

Melanie Kelly, P.A.

Melanie has been a physician assistant with EVFP since 2001. She grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona and received her bachelor of science from Northern Arizona University. Nada Joined EVFP since 2012 as one of our Physician’s Assistant . She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies from A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ and a Master's degree in Public Health from Tulane University in Louisiana. She has been married for 17 years and has 2 kids. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling and spending time with her family.
